Remote help first, when remote makes sense.

Many Windows computer, app, account, settings and learning questions can be handled without a house call. Remote help is the preferred first pass when it can solve the problem safely and efficiently.

What a remote appointment looks like

You stay present and in control from start to finish.

Start with your request

Tell me what you are trying to do. I’ll confirm whether remote help is a good fit before you book.

Open a one-time connection

At the appointment time, you follow a link or short instructions. Unattended access is not installed.

Stay in control

You can see what is happening, enter your own passwords, ask questions and end the connection at any time.

Remote is usually the first pass

It is often enough for Windows troubleshooting, apps, accounts, settings, files, private lessons, spreadsheets and subscription reviews.

Need hands-on help instead?

If the task depends on TVs, speakers, smart-home devices, scanners, cabling already in place, or equipment in the room, I may recommend an in-home visit.

What works especially well remotely

If the problem lives mostly on the screen, in an account, or in software you can open, remote support is often the fastest and simplest way to get unstuck.

1

Windows troubleshooting

Settings, updates, apps, browser issues and common software problems.

2

Accounts and security

Password-manager setup, two-factor authentication, account recovery and privacy settings.

3

Files and organization

Finding downloads, organizing folders, working with cloud storage and cleaning up digital clutter.

4

Private lessons

Learn while we work so you understand what changed and can repeat the steps later.

5

Spreadsheets and forms

Help with personal spreadsheets, simple forms and practical everyday workflows.

6

Subscription reviews

Sort through recurring services, understand what you are paying for and simplify where possible.

Built around visible, one-time access

You are there for the session. You can see what is happening, and you can end the connection at any point. I do not install unattended access for future use.

You keep control of private information

You enter your own passwords and security codes. The goal is to help you get through the task without asking you to hand over information you should keep private.
